Crossroads’ latest feature story now appears on the sidebar. This is to help readers immediately see any new postings in our three main homepage categories, namely “News”, “Reviews and Agenda Tips” and “Feature stories”.
News items and agenda items are updated every day.

In order to give more exposure to our feature stories on the homepage , I will now post all news items into one single “News” category.
The various news stories will still be separately categorised under “Maastricht area news”, “Dutch national news” or “European news” in the sidebar.

The latest feature story is now on top of the page. This way, it gets a better place in the spotlight and gives Crossroads’ homepage a more dynamic and attrative look.
I hope to be able to post a new feature story every five to seven days.

Crossroads will be taking a summer break as of July 15, 2006.
We will be back on August 14, 2006 with a fresh selection of news and feature articles. In the meantime we wish our readers an excellent summer!

I have now increased the number of Dutch national news headlines on the home page to 8.
Many of these news items deal with developments in higher education, but I find many stories related to social and cultural aspects of life in the Netherlands also very interesting.
