Welcome into the creative world of Rod Summers
Maastricht Moet Je Horen, a website featuring audio interviews with Maastricht citizens, recently met with Rod Summers, a British audio artist who moved to Maastricht in the 1970’s and introduces him as follows:
“Rod Summers, born in England and now living in Maastricht, could have been an atomic scientist, but the forces of nature had choosen a different path. The creative world of art! Rod uses audio to create soundworks that will blow your mind away. It’s not easy art that’s ready-made to digest. You have to put in some work to fully experience Rod’s art. At first, the artwork might sound weird and strange, but don’t worry. If you let your mind grow the seeds that are planted within you, new worlds will open themselves to welcome your soul.”
Maastricht Moet Je Horen further announces that Rod will soon start his own show on the website with his own audio art, as well as pieces from other audio artists from all over the world. These sound works were created in the 1970’s and 1980’s.
