Cultural Biography of Maastricht now available in English

The digital biography of Maastricht, at www.zichtopmaastricht.nl, is now available in English. It is a fascinating website with audio/video material about the cultural history and heritage of Maastricht, featuring very interesting articles and beautiful photographic and multimedia material.

The goal of the website is to create a virtual biography of the city. Visitors will learn about the various identities of Maastricht throughout history as a Roman fortress, a religious centre, a garrison city and an early industrial city.

Everyone is invited to participate in the development of the website by submitting new content.
