Four huge, genuine dinosaur skeletons are currently on exhibit in Maastricht.

For the first time, gigantic fossils from the Beijing Museum (one measuring some 26 metres from head to tail), will be on display in Europe.

However, the exhibit at Centre Céramique does not centre around large skeletons only - petrified footprints, dinosaur eggs and complete clutches are shown, as well as a newly discovered egg with a fossilized hatchling.

Special emphasis in the exhibit will be on climate change, and what dinosaur fossils tell us about the ever-changing environment on planet Earth.

A separate feature of the ‘Dutch Dinosaur’, staged at the Natuurhistorisch Museum of Maastricht, illustrates the link between Chinese and Dutch dinosaurs.

Dino’s Maastricht is exhibited at two locations. One part can be visited in Centre Céramique and the other in Natuurhistorisch Museum Maastricht.
