Hennes & Mauritz contact center in Maastricht
April 4, 2007 by Sueli
In addition to dealing with queries by telephone from customers of the various H&M shops, the contact center will play a large part in internet sales. The company is now experimenting with this sales method in the Netherlands. In Scandinavia it has already become an important sales channel for the company. If the initiative is successful in the Netherlands it is not unthinkable that online sales will be expanded to include the German market.
H&M chose to locate in Maastricht because of the city’s strong and international image, the availability of multilingual employees and – with an eye to the expansion of the internet sales channel throughout Germany – the good accessibility of this particular office building along the important A2 Motorway.
H&M joins the list of international companies that have a contact center in the southernmost Dutch province of Limburg to serve their European market, including Vodafone, DaimlerChrysler, DHL, Twenty4Help, Clerical Medical and Office Depot.
