Another court has failed to ban motorcycle club the Hell’s Angels. The court in Maastricht found that the Limburg chapter of the club, the Nomads, could not be branded a criminal organisation.

The court has followed suit from courts in Amsterdam and Leeuwarden. The public prosecution department is appealing those cases.

It is unclear if the public prosecutor in Maastricht will appeal this case as well. The prosecution department would like to see all chapters of the club banned because it feels that the Hell’s Angels are disruptive to society.

A number of the Limburg Hell’s Angels are currently in custody on charges of murdering three fellow club members in 2004.
