Half of Dutch would work abroad
Almost half of Dutch workers say they would like to work somewhere outside of the Netherlands. That is fewer than in the UK, where 88 percent of workers say they would like to venture abroad for work.
Research bureau the Intelligence Group surveyed 21,000 workers in nine countries about their preferences and motivation in seeking jobs and their willingness to work abroad. Workers were also asked which country they would most like to work in.
The Netherlands came in tenth place. 18 percent of the workers questioned said they would like to work in the Netherlands. Countries like the US (35 percent), the UK (34 percent) and France (30 percent) scored considerably better.
