Crossroads summer break

June 29, 2007

The following update was sent to Crossroads’ mailing list subscribers on Thursday 28 June 2007:

Dear Crossroads reader,

Crossroads will be taking a summer break as of July 2, 2007. We’ll be back on August 1, 2007 with a fresh selection of news and feature articles.

I am pleased to announce that a number of new writers will be joining our team of contributors after the break. Some of these are readers who will be moving to Maastricht in the next few weeks and who have already expressed their wish to take an active part in our magazine.

Here’s an overview of the articles we’ve published since our last update on May 22, 2007:

Feature articles:

  • A Tale of Two Cities: the twinning between Maastricht and El Rama, Nicaragua
  • Lions Club Maastricht Mondial, May Fair 2007: a photo-reportage
  • Maastricht Secondhand
  • Reviews:

  • Kunsttour 2007: New Media and Artistic Innovation in Maastricht
  • Maastrichts Mooiste 2007 (Part 1): Of beer trays and Cuban flags or The Waiters’ Race

  • If you have any comment or suggestions, or if you are interested in writing for Crossroads, please feel free to contact me. As always, I’ll be happy to hear from you.

Once again, a big thank you to all our contributors for their great input and to all our readers for their continued interest!

Best wishes for an excellent summer,

    Sueli Brodin
