De Telegraaf reports that the Limburg town of Onderbanken has installed condom machines in the council building, making it the first council to do so in the entire country. Nineteen-year-old town councillor Rens Evers is behind the initiative. According to Mr Evers, “the region has one of the highest sexually transmitted disease rates in the Netherlands and as many young people come to the council building, it is a logical place to put a condom machine”.
