Better help abroad from EU consulates

European Union citizens need faster and better help if they are in trouble while abroad. Theoretically, EU citizens can knock on the door of any EU embassy in the world, whatever their nationality. However, most people are completely unaware of this fact, which is why the European Commission wants a sticker put into every passport detailing the right to consular assistance.
