Okubua [Surinam]
The drummers of Okobua play during the many “winti-pre” in Surinam. A winti-pre is a seance in remembrance of the ancestors. During these seances family members dance, eat and drink together. The drums (especially the apinti drum) are used to evoke the spirits of the dead.

Kwani Experience [South Africa]
Kwani Experience brings the new sound of Soweto, lounge music with traditional elements - a unique fusion of jazz, soul, funk and hip-hop.

Nfithe [Mozambique]
It is hard not to dance during the performance of Nfithe from Mozambique. African traditions are fused together with modern music. In this, Nfithe has created a characteristic sound with guitar, bass, percusison and keyboard.
