The Pink Party was established in 1978 by the GLBT organisation COC Limburg with the intention to give more meaning to the word ‘integration’. The Pink Party is still organised by COC Limburg and has over the years become one of the biggest gay parties in The Netherlands. The party is organised twice a year, in spring and in autumn. As of the year 2000, the party has been held in the old city theatre of Maastricht, “La Bonbonnière”, which is located at 1, Achter de Comedie. The building has two large auditoriums and one small one, each with its own music style. It is also Pink Party tradition to have a live band.
The Party is practically always sold out!
