Vodafone : four Dutch people will again make a “world of difference” via Vodafone

The World of Difference programme offers four Dutch people the chance to spend a whole year working full-time for their favourite charity and thus make a world of difference. Passionate Dutch people can register with the Vodafone Netherlands Foundation from this week on for the second year of the World of Difference programme. Each winner will receive an average income, which means they can realise their dream, plus reimbursement of expenses such as travelling costs

The new World of Difference year starts in November. Candidates can apply as of today via www.worldofdifference.vodafone.nl. The closing date is 30 June 2006. The winners will be announced in September and the lucky ones can start to prepare for a unique year in their lives.

Vodafone Netherlands Foundation
The Vodafone Netherlands Foundation was established in 2002 in order to provide social sponsorship in an independent way. In selecting projects, the Vodafone Netherlands Foundation looks at the innovative use of mobile technology, nature and the environment. It favours smaller organisations where its contribution may mean a significant step forward, and focuses on children and young people. The Foundation’s current partners are Stichting Veldwerk Nederland, Stichting De Opkikker, IVN, Service Médical, Stichting Victory for Life, Stichting On Wheels, Culturele biografie (Municipality of Maastricht), Hotline to Home and Prinses Christina Concours.
