Coffee shops to stay in Maastricht

Dutch plans to move coffee shops in the Dutch city of Maastricht closer to the Belgian border, have been frozen. Dutch Justice Minister Piet Hein Donner confirmed the news after a meeting with Belgian Interior Minister Patrick Dewael (Flemish liberal).

First, all parties involved will discuss the issue thoroughly before any new decisions are taken.
