Around 20 samba bands will perform throughout the city centre of Maastricht on Sunday 18 June (from 1 pm till 6 pm). The Samba Festival, organised by Percussion Band Secos e Molhados (Naat en Druug), will feature samba and percussion bands from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
The Samba Festival will end with a unique show: around 5.30 pm, all participating bands will perform together on the Market square as one big samba band.
